The second movie that will be researched is The Kings Man.
- In this section, we will discuss about the different camera angles and camera movements. In one of the scenes, there is a medium-long shot that includes the whole organization of the Kings Men. After this shot, the scene is then changed into a zoom shot in which the camera zooms in on the main protagonist (Conrad) meeting the group. There is also a panning shot where the camera moves through the table of the members in the organization. There was also a two shot scenes that consisted of Conrad and the Duke of Oxford talking with Rasputin. Now for the next section, we’ll discuss about some common cosmetics of the film. Each character in the film have costumes that represent their hero personality, for example, Rasputin's costume color representing the color of fear. The actors for each character also have great dialogue between each character and also create great interactions. Wherever Conrad is at, the lighting is always appearing to be dim and dark, but while fighting, he’s in a bright area while fighting, maybe resembling his resolve for his mistakes. The sound in each part of the film creates a more vivid place for action to arise throughout the film. All the weapons in the film keep firing off, bullet sounds flashing by, with a rapid swish, the emphasis in the punches that characters make. The music in each scene is also action-packed, with a changing track that keeps up with the current scenes that occur, such as the intense music being played whenever Conrad meets his enemies.
- The action genre elements are greatly produced throughout the film as well. Fighting scenes bring light to the action genre, with the fast-paced movements of Shola's slashes (side protagonist). High angle shots are also present, and represent enemies who are always above Shola in terms of power. My favorite element that the film consisted of were all the action present in each fighting scene. These scenes, ranging from Conrad vs Grigori Rasputin to the side characters against the other bad group, each of these scenes were full of rapid punches, shots constantly moving, and sounds of intensity. An element that didn’t really appeal to me would probably have to be the editing. I feel as if more work should have been put into the editing of the film to make the scenes more unique and full of outstanding images.
