I'm back with the same group
The day has finally come where me and my friends will be starting the music video project. The previous project (the commercial) was a great success, which is why I'm going to stick with the same group. If you don't already know my groupmates are Jibril Alkishawi and Andy Hernandez-Vazquez. I have known Jibi (Jibril) since middle school and we have been very good friends since. We've been to sleepovers and birthday parties together. Overall Jibril is a very good friend of mine, probably one of my best friends. On the other hand, I have only known Andy for 2 months or so. I met Andy this year in AICE Media Studies and I have become very good friends with him as well, later on I found out that we shared a class last year during the pandemic. We sort of have a plan for what we're going to do in the music video, me and Jibril will be "acting" and Andy will be editing (he doesn't like cameras). The song we chose to do is called Where'd All the Time Go? and it's made by Dr. Dog. We chose the song because it reminded us of a nostalgic era in our childhood, hence where'd all the time go. I'm thinking the music video will be sad and sort of slow paced. I am excited to work with my group and have a fun time shooting the music video. The only part that I'm skeptical about is the length of the song. The song is 4 minutes long so I don't know how we're gonna fit the best parts of the song in the video. Luckily we have Andy to do the editing and fix up the song in case it's too long. We didn't have a fight over which song to choose since only I came up with an idea. The runner up songs were Viva la Vida and Better Days. Just between you and me I wanted Viva la Vida to win, but Where'd All the Time Go? is also a great song. Signing off for the night.
